Job summary
APAC Central Inc. in Oklahoma is seeking a Shop Laborer to assist shop supervision and maintenance crews by keeping equipment in safe, working order and supporting daily shop operations.
You will follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures, help process work and purchase orders, ensure equipment availability for shifts, and coordinate with foremen and mechanics while maintaining accurate records. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge in construction required.
- Previous related experience in construction field.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Follow all OSHA/MSHA regulations and report issues to supervisory staff.
- Assist in completing work orders and purchase orders accurately and timely.
- Assist in completing driver reports and ensure equipment availability for the next shift.
- Assist in ordering parts and maintaining inventories as directed.
- Assist in repairing malfunctioning equipment and parts as necessary.
- Fulfill the Company's mission statement personally and within the shop.
- Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
