Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is hiring a qualified maintenance technician to service heavy equipment across our Oklahoma operations. You will diagnose, repair, and overhaul equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with DOT, MSHA, and OSHA standards.

You will lead repair planning, coordinate with vendors, and support a safety-driven work environment while maintaining accurate time and parts records. Travel and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two-year technical certificate in heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Experience with electronic equipment management systems preferred.
• 3–6 months of heavy equipment maintenance experience or training.
• CDL Class A or B license and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze malfunctions, repair, rebuild, and maintain equipment.
• Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment with hoists and tools.
• Inspect parts for wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Replace defective engines and subassemblies.
• Test equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• Direct staff in cleaning, assembly, and parts handling.
• Maintain time and parts records.
• Plan work procedures and implement repair processes.
• Ensure DOT, OSHA, and MSHA compliance.
• Maintain safety culture and attendance.
