Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a skilled technician based at our Baltimore, MD service center to perform preventive maintenance and repair work on power generators, diesel engines, electrical gear, HVAC equipment and oil free air compressors.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years on generators or commercial HVAC, can read schematics, and hold a valid driver’s license. You may need TWIC/DOT medical cards. Lifting up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for long shifts are required.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
Valid driver’s license
Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Based out of Baltimore, MD service center and perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
