Job summary

Aggreko in Baltimore, MD is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our service team. You will base out of the Baltimore service center and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution gear, HVAC equipment and oil-free air compressors.

You may work alone or with teammates to set up and operate equipment at customer sites, traveling as needed. A strong background in HVAC and power systems, with the ability to read schematics, is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading schematics.
• May need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Based in the Baltimore, MD service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
• Work independently or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment on customer sites.
