Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Shop Technician 1 - Power in Baltimore, MD to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors. The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, ability to read schematics, and a valid driver’s license.

You may need to obtain a TWIC or medical card, and must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Experience reading schematics and calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 60–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and coordinate with service centers as needed.
• Position based at the Baltimore, MD service center and travel as required.
• Participate in safety programs and quality training to support energy solutions for customers.
