Job summary

Aggreko in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Shop Technician 2 Power or HVAC to support preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and oil-free air compressors.

Based at the Baltimore service center, this full-time role offers overtime and weekend work, travel potential, and a strong training program; a safety-focused environment with opportunities for career growth and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

High School diploma/GED is required.
7+ years of experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage or kW and read schematics.
TWIC card or valid DOT medical card may be required by customer.
Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and oil-free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and customer sites and perform repairs.
Work solo or with a team to set up and operate equipment at locations.
