Aggreko, LLC is seeking a Technician 1 — Electric based in North Houston, TX. You'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators, electrical distribution equipment, and HVAC systems.

This full-time role involves preventive maintenance, working overtime, and potentially traveling to customer sites, all requiring hands-on experience with diesel/natural gas generators and HVAC equipment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience on diesel/natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
• Able to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Physically able to move or lift objects typically under 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at customer sites.
• Set up and operate equipment independently.

Skills

Hands-on experience with diesel/natural gas generators

Commercial HVAC equipment knowledge

Reading electrical schematics

Education

High School diploma or GED
