Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of mechanical repair experience or equivalent technical education.
• Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills.
• MVR required; Driver's license needed.
• Med Card and CDL preferred.
• OSHA and MSHA training required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety standards and procedures.
• Plans and performs minor repairs using correct tools and procedures.
• Performs tasks on engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical components: remove/install, disassemble/reassemble, minor adjustments.
• Conducts preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrates proper use of service information systems.
• Orders and returns parts promptly for assigned jobs.
• Tests and adjusts components to ensure optimal performance.
• Works independently in the shop as required.
