Thompson Tractor Company, Inc. is seeking a RentAL Store Shop Technician to perform minor repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on Thompson Rents equipment in a shop setting.

The role requires adherence to safety policies and the ability to work independently to test and adjust components for optimal performance. Experience in mechanical repairs, familiarity with service information systems, and a valid driver's license are essential; Med Card and CDL are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of mechanical repair experience or equivalent technical education.
• Experience with PCs and basic typing skills.
• Med Card and CDL preferred; MVR required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety standards and procedures.
• Plans and performs minor repairs using correct tools and procedures.
• Disassembles and reassembles engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical components.
• Performs preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrates proper use of service information systems.
• Orders and returns parts for assigned jobs in a timely manner.
• Tests and adjusts components for optimal performance.
• Works independently in the shop as required.
• Must have a valid driver's license to be eligible for hire.
