Job summary

Paragon Pro Rentals is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician in Fort Worth, TX to diagnose, service and repair rental equipment. This role works largely independently with guidance from supervisors and reports to the rental store or branch manager.

Responsibilities include maintenance of Heavy Equipment and Scissor Lifts, on-site or in-shop diagnostics, and maintaining records of parts and time. A High School Diploma and 2+ years in construction or rental industry are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction or equipment rental.
• 2+ years hands-on equipment/engine experience, diagnostics and troubleshooting with rental equipment.
• Positive attitude and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Job DetailsJob Location: FORT WORTH, TX 76119The equipment rental service shop technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repair, and preparation of rental equipment. This is a skilled technician position working largely independently with guidance from supervisors or service mentors. The rental service shop technician reports to rental store manager or branch manager and serves customers located in the rental store.

Essential Functions

• Service and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Heavy Equipment and Scissor Lifts to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on-site or in the shop.
• Recondition and repair equipment and components.
• Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchases.
• Gas and diesel engine, construction equipment and/or truck engine training through accredited technical schools or relevant military experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
