Job summary

Paragon Pro Rentals is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician in Fort Worth, TX to diagnose, service and repair rental equipment. This role works largely independently with guidance from supervisors and reports to the rental store or branch manager.

Responsibilities include maintenance of Heavy Equipment and Scissor Lifts, on-site or in-shop diagnostics, and maintaining records of parts and time. A High School Diploma and 2+ years in construction or rental industry are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction or equipment rental.
• 2+ years hands-on equipment/engine experience, diagnostics and troubleshooting with rental equipment.
• Positive attitude and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance on Heavy Equipment and Scissor Lifts.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on-site or in shop.
• Recondition and repair equipment and components.
• Maintain records for time, parts, supplies and purchases.
• Demonstrate professionalism and customer service orientation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team.
