PARAGON PRO RENTALS LLC is seeking a Service Shop Technician in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heavy equipment and scissor lifts with guidance from supervisors and mentors. Candidates should have solid hands-on experience and maintain accurate service records.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with clean MVR, and at least two years in construction or rental environments. Excellent communication and safety focus are essential.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction or equipment rental.
• 2+ years of hands-on equipment/engine experience, diagnostics and troubleshooting with rental equipment.

Responsibilities

Job DetailsJob Location: FORT WORTH, TX 76119The equipment rental service shop technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repair, and preparation of rental equipment. This is a skilled technician position working largely independently with guidance from supervisors or service mentors. The rental service shop technician reports to rental store manager or branch manager and serves customers located in the rental store.

Essential Functions

• Service and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Heavy Equipment and Scissor Lifts to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on-site or in the shop.
• Recondition and repair equipment and components.
• Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchases.
• Gas and diesel engine, construction equipment and/or truck engine training through accredited technical schools or relevant military experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required.

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and a high level of personal credibility and integrity with customers, management, and dealership co-workers.
• Maintain company and product confidentiality.
