The Shop Support Technician role supports shop and manufacturing activities, including material handling, kitting, equipment operation, and general maintenance.

The position reports to the Shop Foreman and emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accuracy in a busy fabrication environment.

Qualifikationen

• Basic knowledge of fabrication shop tooling & processes.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).
• Detail oriented with good written & verbal communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret simple drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• This position may require pre-employment drug screening and will be subject to the JFT Drug & Alcohol Policy.
• Must be able to pass OSHA Safety Training.

Aufgaben

• Operate forklifts, grinders, saws and other shop equipment.
• Drive the company truck, courier parts and tow trailers.
• Kit components for downstream processes.
• Housekeeping and general maintenance.
• Verify receipt of items compared to purchase orders.
• Ensure jobs and tasks are completed on time.
• Perform duties and tasks in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean shop.
• Attend Pre-Job briefs.
• Ensure Shop Personal Protective Equipment is available.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor and/or designee.
