James Fisher Technologies (JFT) seeks a Shop Support Technician to assist in shop and manufacturing activities, including material handling, component kitting, equipment operation, and receiving support. The role supports Welders, Machinists, Fabricators, Receipt Inspectors, and Shop Management.

Based in Loveland, CO, the position follows a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, promoting work-life balance and safety. A strong emphasis on compliance and teamwork is required.

Qualifikationen

• Basic knowledge of fabrication shop tooling and processes.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).
• Detail oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret simple drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• May require pre-employment drug screening and OSHA safety training.

Aufgaben

• Operate forklifts, grinders, saws and other shop equipment.
• Drive the company truck and tow trailers.
• Kit components for downstream processes.
• Housekeeping and general maintenance.
• Verify receipt of items against purchase orders.
• Ensure jobs and tasks are completed on time.
• Perform duties in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean shop.
• Attend Pre-Job briefs.
• Ensure PPE is available.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
