Job summary

JH Kelly seeks a Fabrication Shop Maintenance Technician to diagnose, service, and repair equipment across our fabrication shops. You will troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems on heavy machinery, perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and travel between Vancouver and Longview as needed. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years repairing hydraulic and electrical systems on heavy machinery.
• Experience with manlifts, cranes, telehandlers, and forklifts.
• Ability to read hydraulic/electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and service on fabrication shop equipment.
• Diagnose errors and determine repair solutions for uptime.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and manage spare parts inventory.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Travel between Vancouver, WA and Longview, WA to service sites.
• Work overtime as needed.
