Oliver Fire Protection & Security in King of Prussia, PA is hiring a dependable Shop Support Specialist to join our Fabrication and Shop Support team. You will receive, pick, package, organize, and prepare materials for scheduled jobs and service calls, coordinating with field representatives, fabrication personnel, and service teams to ensure on-time delivery.

This hands-on role focuses on inventory coordination, safe warehouse operations, and supporting cost-tracking for invoicing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to receive, pick, package, organize, and prepare materials for scheduled jobs and service calls.
• Ability to communicate clearly with field representatives, fabrication personnel, superintendents, purchasing, service, and internal departments.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to support safe warehouse operations, material handling, deliveries, and shop service support needs.
• Must be able to successfully complete any required background check, drug screening, or company compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, package, organize, and date materials for scheduled jobs and service calls to support timely delivery.
• Pull and prepare stock and special-order materials for shipping so items are accurately distributed as needed.
• Keep paperwork organized for back-ordered materials and communicate shortages to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while supporting efficient and accurate shipping from the shop.
• Provide required materials and equipment for service work and support off-hour fabrication and delivery needs for service calls.
• Communicate material, fabrication, and delivery status updates to field teams, the Daywork Superintendent, Service Administrator, and other stakeholders.
• Support accurate costing of materials, equipment, fabrication, and delivery charges for invoicing purposes.
• Work with fabrication, purchasing, daywork, and field service teams to support service-related work, van inventory needs, material procurement, and jobsite continuity.
