Wanzl North America (Denver, NC) seeks a Sales Application Engineer to bridge Sales, Product, Design, and Operations for Shop Solutions. Translate customer needs into feasible standard, configured, and engineer-to-order solutions, supporting layouts, CAD drawings, and technical proposals.

You will lead customer discovery, validation, and documentation, ensuring alignment with margins, delivery, and Wanzl capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum five years of technical/retail solutions experience in a retail setting.
• Proficiency in CAD and layout software including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support to Sales, Product Management, and Design to communicate product capabilities and trade-offs.
• Qualify opportunities against portfolio fit, feasibility, and margin expectations.
• Lead customer discovery, design reviews, proposals, and solution-development discussions.
• Translate customer requirements into scopes of work, layouts, BOMs, and assumptions.
