Job summary

Wurth Industry USA is seeking an Account Applications Engineer to serve as the main technical contact across the organization, supporting customers and internal teams. The role emphasizes technical support, ECN review, teardowns, on-site visits, training, and quality collaboration to ensure standardization and value-added outcomes.

The candidate should have an engineering degree, CAD familiarity, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 30% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with fastener related products/applications is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication to relay information.
• Time management and self-directed work style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify application issues and cost reduction opportunities.
• Consult on proper application of products and solutions and support sales.
• Act as technical advisor for internal departments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot fastener and assembly applications.
• Assist Quality with failure mode analysis.
• Facilitate training seminars for internal and customer knowledge sharing.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities to lower customer costs.
• Support sales through customer visits and presentations.
• Provide technical support across the organization and drive productivity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
