Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering, product design and development experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling with CATIA, NX, or Autodesk; SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience managing design data and revisions using PDM systems such as Teamcenter, SmarTeam, or Autodesk Vault.
• Ability to produce engineering drawings and robust technical documentation.
• Travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement innovative products from concept through production release with detailed CAD models and BOMs.
• Maintain product data, engineering docs, and revision controls to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Project Management.
• Lead NPD projects and major enhancements using DFMA and stage‑gate methods.
• Perform analyses, benchmarking, value engineering, and technology evaluations to improve cost and performance.
• Execute validation testing and provide data‑driven recommendations for designs.
• Prototype, test fixtures, and validation assemblies; support pilot builds and qualification activities.
• Manage technical execution of production projects from requirements to release milestones.
• Create and revise assembly procedures, ECNs, and technical specs for efficient production.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to evaluate materials and processes for innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements; support CAPA initiatives.
• Communicate status, risks, changes, and milestones to stakeholders and customers.
• Incorporate customer feedback and VOC data to enhance product performance.
