Job summary

Würth Industry USA seeks an Account Applications Engineer to serve as the main technical contact across the organization, supporting customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include technical support, ECN review support, line walks, on-site visits, and training facilitation.

The role emphasizes identifying cost-reduction opportunities, assisting with sales processes, and promoting cross-functional teamwork to improve productivity and quality across operations.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, etc.) or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relay information to customers and partners.
• Time management and personal responsibility to ensure productivity in a self-directed environment.
• Critical thinking using logic to evaluate solutions and problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer or other CAD software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify application issues and cost reduction opportunities to support value-engineered initiatives.
• Consult on product applications, assist in new business development, support sales, and demo products.
• Serve as a key technical advisor for internal departments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot fastener and assembly applications.
• Assist Quality in failure mode analysis of fasteners and related components.
• Facilitate training seminars for internal and customer knowledge sharing.
