Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager with shift staffing and performance at a Ryder location. The role oversees technicians and service staff, ensuring customer needs meet financial, quality, safety, and asset targets.

Responsibilities include workflow planning, warranty execution, drive-in triage, labor management, customer relations, and quality control. The role also covers documentation, safety compliance, and support for maintenance initiatives

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3+ years of experience in a maintenance operations environment.
• Maintenance and technical experience in a shop environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with a Shop Management System; intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in workflow management: planning, scheduling, assigning work to technicians, productivity tracking and SOPs.
• Ensure all warranty policies and procedures are executed.
• Triage unscheduled drive-ins and assign work to technicians as needed.
• Oversee labour management: training, development, performance management on shift.
• Manage customer relationships, issue resolution, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Lead quality inspections and root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
