Job summary

Motion is seeking a Service Shop Manager to lead operations, schedule production, and coach a team of skilled workers at our Cleveland-area facility. The role ensures high-quality output while maintaining safety and ISO-related standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 10+ years of related experience, with strong knowledge of machining, CAD/CAM software, and manufacturing processes. On-site work in Ohio is expected.

Qualifications

• Leader of a team of shop employees with strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources daily.
• Familiarity with shop safety practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of five or more shop employees performing skilled trades and operation of production machines.
• Develops and implements production schedules for efficient labor, tools and equipment use.
• Coaches and provides feedback to shop staff.
• Allocates tasks based on workload and monitors performance metrics.
