Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Shop Operations Manager in Florida to develop, manage, and deliver support services for the shop. You will liaise between customers, the sales force, shop staff, and distribution, ensuring efficient administrative operations and accurate reporting.

You will lead cross-functional activities, train staff on systems, handle pricing and collections, and manage inventory to meet annual turnover goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Industry and sales experience preferred.
• Ability to perform financial calculations and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all shop support activities at the location.
• Trains staff on sales related systems, databases, and processes.
• Provides customer support including order processing, shortages, delivery dates, and price changes.
• Implements and maintains pricing per established policies.
• Manages collections and handles outstanding invoices.
• Performs all Accounts Payable activities within the shop.
• Prepares reports as needed.
• Assists customers and suppliers to resolve order problems.
• Manages inventory to meet annual turn goals.
• May fill in for other lower level roles within the shop.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
