Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a Full Time Supervisor in Tyler, Texas for the Machine Division. The role focuses on scheduling, quoting, and prioritizing work, with emphasis on customer communication and safety compliance.

The incumbent will model company values daily, lead a team, monitor open work orders, and participate in staffing and performance evaluations. Travel up to 30% is required; report to the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma, or trade school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years machining service/supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards Values Based Leadership to ensure alignment with Vision, Values, and Mission.
• Establishes and communicates job expectations (accurate price quotes and time estimates) to internal and external customers.
• Establishes, models, and reinforces safety practices to ensure employee and customer safety.
• Provides Service Manager with status reports on all open work orders in a timely manner.
• Reviews monthly service operations branch statement to assess progress on department goals.
• Participates in the selection, development, and evaluation of service department personnel.
• Travel up to 30% and maintain valid driver's license.
• Coaches and develops staff; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
