Job summary

Dave Wright Auto Group is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead our high-volume service department. You’ll oversee technician dispatching, workflow, and adherence to processes while mentoring the team and upholding exceptional customer service.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced technician ready to drive results. You will train and evaluate staff, motivate the team, and partner with other departments to meet dealership goals.

• Experience as a technician with leadership aptitude.
• Strong dispatching and shop flow understanding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage technician dispatching and shop workflow.
• Enforce processes and uphold team accountability.
• Provide ongoing training to service department staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and 1-on-1 meetings.
• Motivate staff to achieve potential and maintain service scores.
• Assist guests in a professional manner and retain customers.
• Collaborate with departments to reach shared goals.
• Other duties as required.

Shop Foreman Responsibilities:

• Manage technician dispatching and shop workflow
• Follow our processes and hold the team accountable to them
• Provide ongoing training to service department personnel
• Evaluate performance, recognize accomplishments, and hold 1-on-1 meetings with team members
• Motivate and encourage service staff members to reach their full potential
• Maintain above average customer service scores for the department
• Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Retain current service customers and encourage repeat business
• Collaborate with other departments in the dealership to accomplish common goals
• Other duties as required
