Job summary

Dave Wright Auto Group in Hiawatha, IA, is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead our high-volume service department. If you’re an experienced technician ready to move into a leadership role, this is the perfect opportunity to apply your car knowledge in a new way.

You will manage dispatching, oversee workflow, train staff, and drive customer service scores while collaborating with other departments to meet shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage technician dispatching and shop workflow
• Follow processes and hold the team accountable to them
• Provide ongoing training to service department personnel
• Evaluate performance, recognize accomplishments, and hold 1-on-1 meetings with team members
• Motivate and encourage service staff to reach their full potential
• Maintain above average customer service scores for the department
• Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Retain current service customers and encourage repeat business
• Collaborate with other departments to accomplish common goals
• Other duties as required
