Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Waco, TX seeks a Shop Helper to support daily operations in a fast-paced shop. You will prepare parts for processing, keep work areas organized, and assist machine operators with general duties as needed to help keep production on track.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of related experience or training, and the ability to operate a forklift and man lift to OSHA standards. A safety-focused approach and willingness to report issues are essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to operate a forklift and man lift to approved OSHA standards.
Ability to maintain a safe and organized workstation by following all safety rules and company policies.
Willingness to report problems observed to a supervisor, including storage/placement issues or machine malfunctions.

Responsibilities

Removes and weights chips.
Loads and unloads trucks.
Sets up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing.
Identifies and ensures the correct parts are placed in the designated order.
Assists machine operators with general duties as requested to support smooth machine operation.
