Job summary

HarborFab in Winnsboro, TX is seeking a Full Time Manufacturing Associate to assist production with material handling, equipment operation, and general shop duties. You will lift, move, and stage materials, operate fabricating machinery, and help maintain daily equipment and yard tasks.

The role requires basic welding knowledge, adherence to safety standards, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification and overhead hoist training are required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must have or complete forklift certification and overhead hoist training within 60 days of hire.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to lift, carry and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Familiarity with structural steel shapes and standard shop practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist production workers by supplying/holding materials or tools and cleaning work areas.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in fabrication, including saws, punches, and shear; start and stop machines as needed.
• Grind welds and chip weld splatter; perform minor repairs to machines.
• Count finished products to verify orders; mark or tag parts for identification.
• Maintain general shop, yard, and equipment cleanliness and upkeep.
• Follow safety protocols in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
