Job summary

A staffing agency in Fort Worth is seeking a shop support staff member to assist in material handling, maintain the shop and yard, and help with fabricators. Responsibilities include transporting dump bodies, driving for errands, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes. The ideal candidate should be safety-oriented, available Monday through Friday, and capable of working overtime. Some experience with forklifts or plasma cutters is a plus. This role is essential for the shop’s daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm.
• Must be able to pull up to 30' trailer safely.
• Must be willing to work overtime to meet production needs.
• Must be safety oriented.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Bring in material for appropriate stations in shop.
• Maintain and clean shop floor, outside yard and in the office as needed.
• Help fabricators in stations with fit up as needed.
• Transport dump bodies to have them painted daily.
• Drive to pick up parts and company errands as needed.
• Offload any material or parts with forklift.
• Help shear and plasma small parts as needed for the shop floor.
• Help load finished dump bodies with overhead crane.
