Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement on the Cookeville, TN shop floor and Rock Island, TN operations. You’ll lead lean initiatives, support automated equipment, and ensure reliable processes aligned with quality and safety standards.

You will partner with engineering, operations, and maintenance to troubleshoot issues, scale production, and implement standardization across facilities. This role requires on-site work and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead lean manufacturing, 5S, and Facilities Excellence initiatives.
• Learn, run, and program automated and robotic equipment and maintain programs.
• Improve equipment utilization and workflow for efficiency.
• Partner with Quality on root cause analysis and countermeasures.
• Identify top causes of downtime and implement fixes.
• Support maintenance with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Pull data from sources into reports showing manufacturing status.
• Lead or support capital project proposals and management.
• Flag safety concerns and help implement fixes.
