Job summary

Victaulic seeks a Production Engineer to lead engineering projects from concept to completion, including equipment acquisitions, facility expansions, and process improvements. You will apply LEAN principles, perform data-driven problem solving, and collaborate cross-functionally across sites.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience and strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Expect travel up to 10% and engagement across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
  • 3–5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and metric development abilities.
  • Familiarity with machinery, automation, and fabrication processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage engineering projects from concept through completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, facility engineers, and designers to define requirements.
  • Develop and maintain facility layouts and engineering documentation.
  • Manage external vendors and contractors throughout project lifecycles.
  • Prepare project budgets and schedules and report progress to managers.
  • Lead the implementation of new equipment/technology in manufacturing processes.
  • Apply LEAN principles to optimize layouts and processes.
  • Support safe, compliant operations across sites and projects.
