Job summary

Victaulic Company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing and project engineers across multiple facilities. You will drive safer, more efficient fabrication, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will standardize processes, mentor teams, manage budgets, and partner with operations, quality, safety, and maintenance to improve throughput, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop project and manufacturing engineers across facilities.
• Oversee engineering projects from concept through completion, including new equipment purchases.
• Develop and improve fabrication and assembly processes to boost efficiency and quality.
• Identify waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies; apply Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma.
• Evaluate equipment needs and support capital justification and implementation.
• Drive improvements in takt time, labor utilization, and production planning.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
• Develop and manage capital budgets; present status reports.
• Collaborate daily with operations, quality, safety, and maintenance teams.
