Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement on the shop floor in Cookeville, TN. You will support equipment reliability, lean initiatives, and scale operations with standardization.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance to resolve issues and ensure quality and safety standards are met. You will work on implementing new equipment, reducing downtime, creating maintenance schedules, and contributing to capital projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or similar solid modeling software.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement, metric development, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and 5S to improve shop floor efficiency.
• Learn, run, and program automated and robotic equipment, and maintain related files.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance to improve productivity and troubleshoot issues.
• Support capital projects from scope to installation and validation.
