Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join our Cookeville, TN operations. You will drive lean initiatives, support equipment, and scale operations through standardization and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

This role engages with engineering, operations, and maintenance daily to improve productivity and maintain quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Program automated and robotic equipment; maintain programs.
• Improve equipment utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Partner with Quality on root-cause analysis and countermeasures.
• Identify top causes of downtime and fix them.
• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Generate reports from multiple data sources.
• Evaluate and implement new technology or equipment.
• Create and update quality and production docs.
• Support capital project proposals and management.
• Flag safety concerns and implement fixes.
