Job summary

Victaulic in Kansas City, MO is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on the shop floor. You’ll drive continuous improvement, support equipment and process reliability, and help scale operations through lean principles and standardization, collaborating with engineering, operations, and maintenance to boost productivity and ensure safe, efficient production.

You’ll lead root-cause analysis, assist with new equipment installations, and develop preventative maintenance programs

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) and solid modeling.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement, metric development, and problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Implement continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Troubleshoot issues and establish preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide daily technical direction to maintenance to align with production goals.
• Analyze root causes and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Maintain documentation of standard work and training.
• Ensure safety and quality standards on the production floor.
