Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join our Cookeville, TN operations. You will drive lean manufacturing improvements, support equipment installations, and partner with maintenance to enhance reliability on the shop floor.

You will program automated and robotic equipment, improve throughput, and collaborate with Quality on defect reduction. This role demands strong problem-solving, solid modeling tool experience, and a willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree required in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience on the shop floor and in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Proficiency with solid modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead lean manufacturing, 5S, and Facilities Excellence initiatives.
• Learn, run, and program automated and robotic equipment.
• Improve equipment utilization and workflow for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality on root cause analysis and countermeasures.
• Support maintenance with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist with capital projects and documentation updates.
• Identify safety concerns and help implement fixes.
