Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead production across 5 assembly lines for modular data centers and power distribution centers. The role directs production leads and technicians on the shop floor, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate balances hands-on technical know-how with strong people leadership, Lean discipline, and a focus on process improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience supervising production leads and technicians.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring background check and compliance.
• Ability to navigate an industrial shop floor and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for lines and projects, achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, line balancing, visual management) on the floor.
• Formulate and execute daily strategies, schedules, and resource plans within budgeted hours.
• Lead and mentor production leads and technicians for a high-performing team.
• Monitor KPIs such as safety, first-pass yield, schedule adherence, and labor efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Project Management to remove bottlenecks.
