Job summary

King Electric Manufacturing is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead a hands-on shop floor team on-site in Seattle. You will drive production goals, mentor staff, and ensure quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Expect a 7:00am–3:30pm shift, with overtime as needed. The role emphasizes Lean methods, 6S, safety, and continuous improvement, reporting to the Production department.

Qualifications

• Leads a team of 5+ employees with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse teams.
• Motivates personnel, drives accountability and results.
• Proficient in standard office software (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Able to delegate effectively and interpret English directions and safety rules.
• Bonus: reading BOMs/technical drawings and Lean methods familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations and guide Assembly team members on the floor.
• Ensure availability of resources to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Manage employee performance including reviews and improvement plans.
• Align capacity with production needs for smooth order flow.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve issues and maintain efficiency.
• Monitor metrics on efficiency, quality, and throughput; report findings.
