Job summary

ConeCraft LLC is seeking a Shop Supervisor/Foreman in Rhode Island to oversee daily production in our manufacturing shop. You will lead shop personnel, coordinate workflows, monitor productivity, and liaise between production, engineering, quality and management.

Emphasis on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, 2+ years in supervision, and exposure to fabrication, welding, machining or metal operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience in fabrication, welding, assembly, machining or metal manufacturing is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities.
• Assign work orders and schedules based on priorities.
• Monitor workflow to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Lead safety meetings and corrective actions.
• Train and develop employees in manufacturing processes and safety.
• Monitor attendance, performance, productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping.
• Review drawings and work instructions for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime.
• Maintain equipment, tools and machinery care.
• Maintain production records and labor tracking.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, safety and cost.
• Participate in production planning and capacity discussions.
• Lead by example with professional conduct and accountability.
