Qualifications

• Experience in heavy-duty construction or heavy equipment machinery.
• Experience in a heavy equipment dealership setting.
• Overtime willingness.
• Associates degree in Diesel/Hydraulics or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with high accuracy.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate basic knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, powertrains and fuel systems; perform repairs with supervision.
• Perform basic PM maintenance and parts replacement; remove and install major components with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to all safety policies; maintain a neat, professional appearance and work area.
• Possess a basic set of standard and metric mechanics tools; accurately complete paperwork for tasks performed.
• Demonstrate basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
• Move heavy-duty equipment as needed to access work areas; attend factory and regional training as required.

Role: Service Technician

Job Summary:

The Service Technician is skilled in assembly/disassembly and repair of heavy-duty equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and servicing mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and components of heavy-duty equipment. Candidate must supply own tools.

Compensation:

$25-$55/Hr

Pay in lieu of experience

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a basic knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, powertrains and fuel systems and be able to perform repairs on such with supervision.
• Be able to perform basic PM maintenance and parts replacement and remove and install major components with minimal supervision.

• Attend and complete with a passing grade, factory and regional training schools on specific products as required.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Has prior experience in Heavy duty construction or Heavy Equipment Machinery
• Has prior experience in a Heavy Equipment dealership setting.
• Is open to overtime, as needed.
• If lacking in professional experience, has the drive and will to learn on the job
• Has strong problem-solving skills
• Is detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Is proficient in mechanical systems (transmissions, hydraulics, engines, etc.).
• Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced shop environment.
• Associates degree in Diesel/Hydraulics. (Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education)
• Displays a desire to improve and advance with chosen position
• Has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
