Caleres is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Lead who is passionate about delivering the best shoe store experience for every customer. You will create a welcoming environment and in-store culture where customers say, “I’ll take it” and remain loyal to our store, our brands, and our company.

You love shoes and will empower the team to build engaging customer experiences, delivering the famous feeling. As a leader you will inspire teammates, drive sales with purpose, and own the store’s operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience.
• Experience mentoring and training Associates on selling and operational processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire a Famous Feeling and coach selling behaviors to teammates.
• Drive sales with purpose and accountability to goals.
• Own store operations from opening to closing; maintain clean, organized floors.
• Maintain a culture of customer connection and high service standards.
