Caleres’ Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Lead who is passionate about delivering the best shoe-store experience. You will create a welcoming in-store culture, drive sales, and own store operations from opening to closing.

You’ll mentor teammates, coach selling behaviors, and ensure policies are followed while maintaining a highly engaging shopper experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, optimism, and a love of shoes to help every customer find the perfect fit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in general retail practices and procedures.
• Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience in lieu.
• Experience mentoring and training associates on selling and operational processes.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire teammates and coach selling behaviors to improve Customer Connection.
• Drive sales and own goals to improve Famous Footwear’s overall performance.
• Master store operations from pricing to inventory and ensure the store runs smoothly.
