Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Lead in Cedar Rapids to create a welcoming store environment and lead the team in delivering the Famous Footwear experience. You will coach selling behaviors, drive sales, and ensure merchandise is well organized and accessible to customers.

The role requires a passion for shoes, a team-first attitude, and the ability to mentor Associates while maintaining standards of service and store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in general retail practices and procedures.
• Retail store management experience or relevant management experience preferred.
• Experience mentoring and training Associates on selling and operational processes.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales with accountability and focus on store performance.
• Oversee retail operations including opening/closing, pricing, inventory, and merchandising for easy access to popular styles.
