Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Associate to create a welcoming in-store experience and drive customer loyalty through knowledge of trends and product lines. You will engage customers, be a culture influencer, and contribute to sales goals in a team-driven environment.

You will also support operations, training, and a positive store culture while representing the Famous Footwear brands across Caleres’ retail stores.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Positive communication with associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Able to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, and inventory) are dialed in and the store runs smoothly.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and help customers find the right styles and brands.
• Review store performance and help drive sales with clear, concise communication to the team.
• Uphold company policies with integrity and seek feedback for professional growth.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, inclusive store culture.
