Job summary

Caleres' Famous Footwear brand seeks a Sales Associate to create a welcoming store experience and help customers find their perfect shoes. You will drive sales, uphold store standards, and embody the Famous Footwear culture through enthusiastic customer engagement.

As part of a diverse team, you’ll stay informed about trends, support training, and ensure the store remains clean and organized while delivering top-notch service and a consistent Famous Feeling to every customer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within store.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
• Teamwork with solid knowledge of general retail practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, inventory) are dialed in.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and promote customer loyalty.
• Review store performance and drive sales with urgency to meet goals.
• Adhere to company policies and seek feedback to improve skills.
• Support training and development for teammates as needed.
• Assist customers with finding the perfect styles and maintains store cleanliness.
