Job summary

Scheels Overland Park is seeking a part-time retail associate to support the shoe departments and stock the backroom inventory. You will engage customers, help locate shoes, and maintain organized displays while preparing devices and POS systems for shifts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of retail experience. The role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays. ESOP benefits and employee discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months of related retail/sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve shoes from back stock and move to staging area.
• Process unpurchased items and returns to correct locations.
• Assist in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments.
• Engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer immediate assistance.
• Ensure all necessary technology and devices are prepped and functional prior to shift start.
• Partner with Specialty Shop Managers to identify and address urgent department needs.
• Present information clearly to customers and team members.
• Work independently and collaboratively across the organization.
• Perform basic calculations.
• Work the assigned schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.
