Job summary

Scheels in Mankato, MN is seeking a part-time Shoes Associate to support the Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments. You will help retrieve stock, process returns, and assist customers with a friendly, professional approach. You will ensure all devices and systems are ready for daily operations and work closely with managers to address urgent needs.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and ownership culture with an ESOP and benefits. Weekend/evening shifts are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months of related retail experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve shoes from back stock and move to staging area for sales staff.
• Process unpurchased items and returns, keeping inventory accurate.
• Assist in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments as needed.
• Engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer help.
• Prep technology and devices to be ready for shifts.
• Collaborate with Specialty Shop Managers to meet department needs.
• Show strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or with others.
