Job summary

Caleres’ Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate who loves shoes and delivering great customer experiences. You’ll create a welcoming in-store culture, help customers find the perfect fit, and contribute to a busy, team-focused environment.

You’ll handle daily tasks, assist with inventory and pricing, participate in training, and take pride in excellent service. This role offers employee discounts, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow within a national footwear company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Strong communication with associates at all levels.
• Demonstrates independent judgment when needed with the Store Sales Manager.
• Solid knowledge of general retail practices.
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, and inventory) are dialed in.
• Champion our culture with stellar customer engagement.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency.
• Adhere to company policies with integrity and openness to feedback.
• Uplift teammates and support training and development.
• Help customers find shoe options and ensure the right fit.
