Caleres, Inc. is seeking a friendly and proactive Famous Footwear Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and keep the store running smoothly.

You will assist customers, manage store tasks, and contribute to a positive in-store culture that makes every shopper feel valued. The role emphasizes product knowledge, teamwork, and a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays and extended hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment, inventory) per company standards.
• Provide outstanding customer engagement and help customers find the right products.
• Support with in-store culture and training when needed.
• Uphold integrity and policies while helping the team achieve targets.
• Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and easily shoppable store environment.
