Job summary

Caleres, Inc. is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Associate who loves shoes and delivering a welcoming store experience. You’ll help customers find their perfect fit, maintain an organized selling floor, and contribute to a positive, inclusive in-store culture.

You’ll perform daily tasks like pricing, shipment processing, inventory, and assist with training teammates. The role emphasizes outstanding customer engagement, teamwork, and a flexible schedule within our fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within store.
• Positive communication with team members at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Solid understanding of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: manage pricing, shipments, fulfillment, and inventory to keep the store clean, organized, and easy to shop.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: provide stellar customer engagement and memorable experiences for customers.
